Registered under the Trust Act of 1890 in Islamabad, Ideas for Life Trust (IFLT) is a not for profit organization that offers its resource and expertise to multi-sectoral organizations in the fields of training, capacity building, resource mobilizing, management, monitoring and evaluation, communication, advocacy and public policy research.
IFLT works in the core areas of education rights, women empowerment, youth emancipation, and communication for development. We have been collaborating with different international organizations, conducting research and evaluations, on girl child education, gender based violence in Schools exploring the peace and development initiatives with youth groups and forming linkages with youth across the globe.
IFLT believes in an integrated approach, therefore it joins hands with other organizations working in the above mentioned areas to do the work coherently, while complimenting each other’s tasks. IFLT also develops public-private partnerships primarily in the education and human resource development areas. We also offer the training need assessment, capacity building and management related consultancies, to upgrade the human resource according to the market needs. We have an in house resource pool with the capacity to focus on various programme areas such as monitoring and evaluation, policy making, advocacy and management.
We at Ideas for Life Trust (IFLT) have hand on experience in design, development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation mechanism, including development of tools and guidelines and provision of technical assistance at all levels. We at IFLT also have expertise in capacity building and training skills related to M & E, design and implementation of project evaluations, baseline surveys and end of project reviews and evaluations of integrated developmental programmes, with particular specialization in education and sustainable livelihood interventions, as well as women development.
We plan and design media and communication workshops for the civil society organizations. We also initiate forums and seminars in collaboration with various partners on social issues. Our forums are the place where we encourage open dialogue on misconceptions, and preconceived notions, which change the tone of any news article or clip.
Developing linkages with the media to get the message across is the need of the day. We at Ideas for Life Trust have experts who have been keeping tabs on the emerging role of the media as an agenda setter. We design capacity building modules to facilitate the communication departments of different organizations. Our experts also understand the need to engage the stake holders in a conclusive dialogue, when it comes to issues regarding visibility, and branding without compromising the security.
